How often does the Color Wave Walls mural festival happen in Lakeland, Fl.?

Color Wave Walls is designed as an biennial mural festival. Every other year in November we aim to introduce new artists, some new walls, and new community programming that continues to grow Lakeland’s creative identity and begin to sculpt an arts district for Lakeland.


Where will the murals be located?

Murals will be mostly focused throughout Downtown Lakeland but might pour into surrounding districts. An official festival map will be released closer to the event so visitors can explore the full lineup.


How are artists selected?

Only artists who apply will be considered for the festival's lineup by our judge panel. All artists are welcome to apply and applications are free. Our panel tries to choose a varied group of local, national, and international talent. 


How can I offer a wall or property for a mural?

Property owners can submit walls to be considered via email at colorwavewalls@gmail.com. Our team reviews walls based on visibility, accessibility, scale, and overall impact within the festival footprint.
