Born and raised in Connecticut, childhood trips to NYC exposed "Greg Mike" Mensching to the creative potential of reinventing public spaces through art and design. Always obsessed with the boundless energy and crisp line work of iconic American mid-century cartoons, by his early teens Greg began using the walls on the streets to fuse these two passions together. Further inspired by his deep involvement with skate culture and his intersections with the design world, he has become known for pieces that incorporate vivid explosions of incandescent color filtered through a Surrealist Pop Art perspective. Populated by gleefully twisted characters, his world is unsettling, mischievous and uniquely captivating.

I am a Belgian-born contemporary mural artist working between Australia, Europe, and internationally. My practice sits within surreal figurative muralism, or as I call it visual poetry. Where I blend symbolic figures with botanical forms to explore emotional and psychological narratives. Through bold recognizable colour palettes and flowing compositions, my work embodies themes of transformation, intimacy, and the human relationship with nature. I am drawn to moments of vulnerability and transition, using the visual storytelling as metaphors for inner states and evolving identities. I create immersive large-scale murals that aim to feel both dreamlike and grounded. Working in public space is central to my practice; I see murals as quiet interruptions, places for reflection within the everyday, where softness and strength coexist.

I create to offer a new moment of perspective. A doorway to a fresh setting. Diverging from the previous river of time. An offering to momentarily step into a different space, vantage point, or sentiment. So, I paint representations of natural beauty, metaphors of growth, and a positive perspective. I do this by using captivating and palatable color schemes depicting floral designs entwined with portraits and animals in graphically geometric, abstract spaces. There is nothing more wondrous than the beauty of the natural world, both visually and metaphorically. Not only does nature create some of the most beautiful forms and color schemes, but it also works in perfect harmony... balancing life and death to create an ever evolving state of unity and growth, with the opportunity to blossom. Like a
plant. Reaching for the light. Always growing. These realizations arose through extended periods surrounded by nature. As such, I adopted them as my artistic philosophy, which is to represent the beauty and harmony of nature and its ability to seek growth through all odds. Through experiences of painting large scale public art, I now realize that it comes with a responsibility. Public artwork has the capacity to impact the everyday lives of many. So, with this opportunity, why not impact others with a positive perspective?

I am a muralist and painter driven by a deep-seated fascination with the "black sheep" of the natural world. My work is an ode to the botanical and the bestial, specifically focusing on the creatures that are often overlooked, misunderstood, or teetering on the edge of extinction. My practice is centered on the delicate balance between grandeur and vulnerability. I aim to give a monumental voice to species that are frequently dismissed as "ugly" or "frightening." By enlarging these animals to the size of a building, I force a confrontation between the viewer and the wild. My compositions are always ‘pretty’, I like to seduce the viewer with something nice, hoping that they will think about what they saw, and change the way
they think about or treat animals. Whether I am working on a canvas in my studio or a in a boom lift on a building, my process is defined by meticulous detail and anatomical precision. I blend realistic depictions with a touch of the surreal, often using bold color palettes and organic shapes to contrast with the rigid architecture of the streets. I want my work to act as a window, a reminder that even in our most developed cities, we are still deeply connected to nature.
Ultimately, my goal is to spark curiosity. I want people to stop in their tracks, look up, and wonder about the creature staring back at them. By painting these animals on a massive scale, I am not just decorating a wall; I am demanding respect and visibility for the living things that share our planet, yet have no voice of their own.

I am Tirso Paz, also known as Bublegum. I am a multidisciplinary artist and the creator of the Ornamental Style. My career, which began as a self-taught journey at the age of 16, has evolved into an international trajectory influenced by graffiti, tattooing, and sculpture. Currently, I develop my work between Spain and the United States; thanks to my O-1 Visa for Extraordinary Abilities, I reside in the U.S. for several months a year, allowing me full mobility to execute large-scale projects across both continents. My work is deeply connected to nature, my greatest source of inspiration. I focus on representing local fauna and endangered species to provoke reflection on the precious treasure we inhabit. Through my Ornamental Style, I fuse organic elements with intricate filigree patterns inspired by Baroque architecture, reinterpreting these motifs through a contemporary urban expression. I view muralism as a tool for urban "re-naturalization." In a world increasingly disconnected from the organic, I use my art to force a re-encounter between the citizen and the wild. Each mural is an invitation to pause and recognize that true elegance and complexity do not reside in what we build, but in what we are on the verge of losing. This vision has led me to participate in prestigious festivals such as Wynwood Walls, North West Walls, and the Beaumont Mural Festival, as well as to collaborate with global brands like Revlon and elite athletes like Pau Gasol.
Today, I continue to expand my artistic universe, exploring new ways to merge detail, scale, and a narrative that drives the world to reconnect with our planet and act to preserve it.
